Christine Loudes, ILGA-Europe's Policy Director delivered today a speech at the public hearing organised by the European parliament's Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs on Fundamental Rights in the EU.
EU Equality Summit 2008
The European Commission and the French Council Presidency are co-organising a second Equality Summit in Paris from 29 to 30 September 2008. This summit follows on from the first Equality Summit organised under the German presidency during the 2007 European Year of Equal Opportunities for All and aims to update on the commitments made during the European Year of Equal Opportunities, in particular the Council Resolution adopted in November 2007.
